Rachel Schenberg's practice engages in diverse outputs, with a focus on projects that are specific to the context in which they evolve. Within her artistic research and work she tries to move towards understanding how meaning is made through layers of association, by creating systems which measure and map small transactions within the day-to-day and articulate a way of thinking that is relational. She has an interest in associative logic, and the overall principles of equivalence: how objects, ideas and places can be equated to another.

Most recently she has been looking at portable works made for the scale of the hand, investigating how this location, which we carry with us, can be a site for making meaning.
